In remarks at the Antalya Diplomacy Forum in Turkey on Friday (11 March 2022), Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg outlined NATO’s response to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, including military, humanitarian and financial support for Kyiv, unprecedented costs on Russia, and reinforcements to the Alliance’s deterrence and defence.
Calling NATO’s open door policy a historic success, Mr Stoltenberg stressed that the Kremlin must respect the fundamental principle that every sovereign nation has the right to choose its own path.
