The Secretary General of the Council of Europe, Marija Pejčinović Burić, has met in Strasbourg with Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya, Belarusian opposition leader. They discussed the situation in Belarus in the light of recent developments in the area of human rights, democracy, and the rule of law.
