The Secretary General of the Organization for Economic Cooperation (SEC) Husrav Nozeri called the Foreign Minister Azerbaijan Jaykhun Bayramov, according to the Foreign Ministry of AR.
During the telephone conversation, Nozeri strongly condemned the armed attack on the Azerbaijani embassy in Iran and expressed condolences in connection with the killing of an embassy employee.
The head of the organization regarded this act as a gross violation of international law, including the Vienna Convention on diplomatic relations ”and noted the need to hold the criminal accountable as soon as possible.
In turn, Bayramov noted that Azerbaijan will take all the necessary measures to make the terrorist attack and their patrons to justice.
He emphasized that the country of stay of the embassy is responsible for the prevention of such attacks.
