In the framework of participation in the Anatolian diplomatic forum, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, met with the Secretary General of the Cooperation Council of the Turkic-speaking states (Turkic Council) Baghdad Amreyev.
As reported in the management of the press service of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry, during the meeting, Baghdad Amreev appreciated the Shushinsky Declaration signed by the Presidents of Azerbaijan and Turkey. He expressed confidence that the Declaration would establish in the region of peace, security, expanding cooperation.
During the meeting, an exchange of views took place on the details of the upcoming summit of the Turkic Council, including documents that will be prepared as part of a high-level event.
At the same time, other issues of the Agenda of the Turkic Council were discussed, including the upcoming meetings.
Jeyhun Bayramov expressed appreciation for the support of the Turkic Council of the Shushinsky Declaration, signed by Azerbaijani and Turkish leaders. The minister stressed that the signing of this document is an indicator of close relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey, the availability of cooperation and alliance.
