During the meeting with Rutte and the heads of American diplomacy, the priorities of the foreign policy of the US President Donald Trump were discussed.
According to the statement, Rubio emphasized Washington’s commitment to NATO membership and the significance of the alliance in ensuring international security.
The parties emphasized the need for the allies of defensive capabilities and the “real distribution of burden” between member countries.
Secretary of State and NATO Secretary General of NATO noted the need for closer cooperation and mutual understanding between the Indo-Pacific and Euro-Atlantic Regions.
Rubio also conducted telephone conversations with Egyptian Foreign Minister Bedir Abdulati, Minister of Foreign Affairs and religions of Kosta Rica Arnoldo Andre Tinoko and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland Radoslav Sikorsky.
