Former director of the National Security Service of Armenia, and now the chairman of the opposition party “Motherland” Arthur Vanetyan, called upon the premiere-minister of the country Nikola Pashinyan to recognize his guilt in defeat in the 44-day Patriotic War and resign under the guarantee of physical security.
“I personally and my political partners are ready to give Pashinyan and his family guarantee of physical security. No one will harm them,” said Wentyan in an interview to one of Armenian TV channels.
According to the ex-head of the SNB, the opposition political forces of Armenia have not yet discussed the candidacy of the new premiere. Vanetyan believes that new parliamentary elections must first be held, a temporary government of the transition period has been formed and a temporary prime minister should be elected. At the same time, Wentyan believes that it is he who should take the place of the current premiere, well, or someone else, but necessarily from his political circles.
