The attack on the Azerbaijani embassy in Iran was thought out and planned, the video shown during the briefing of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry said in connection with the terrorist act in the country’s embassy in Iran January 27.
On the video, Vasif Tagiev, who was injured during the incident, says that he later heard in the news that the terrorist allegedly came to the embassy to “look for his wife.”
“This is a lie. His goal was to commit an attack. The person who came to look for his wife would not have come with weapons,” he emphasized.
Tagiev also noted that the terrorist shot him with a pistol. According to him, a bullet released from a pistol entered his jaw and came out from under his eyes.
