The Sejm (Parliament) of Latvia approved the new government of the country, led by Prime Minister Evika Silini, representing the New Unity party.
This was announced by the portal of the GOSTELEDIDODIO Latvia LSM.
The new cabinet was supported by 53 deputies, 39 people’s deputies spoke out against. The ruling coalition included the parties “New Unity” (26 mandates), “The Union of Green and Peasants” (SZK, 16) and “progressive” (10).
half of the 16 ministerial portfolios in the new office of ministers went to the “new unity”, five – the “Union of Green and Peasants”, three – “progressive”.
Foreign Ministry was headed by ex -prime minister Krishyanis Karins, the Ministry of Internal Affairs – Richards Kozlovskis, the Ministry of Finance – Arvils Asheraden.
