Interest is caused by both the architecture of the monastery and the surrounding nature
One of the entrepreneurs working in the Altyndder Valley, Murat Yildyrym, in an interview with Anadolu, noted that despite the fact that the tourist season has not yet begun, interest in the Sumel monastery is already great.
Yildyrym expressed confidence that the tourist season will pass as actively: “Our guests really like the appearance of Sumel, its natural structure, species and surrounding nature. There are no such landscapes anywhere else. We have a plateau of bogazy, chakirgöl and other beautiful mountain pastures. I would like everyone to see them,” he said.
A guide with 13 years of experience, Oguzkhan Emre Kandemir, said that he accompanies tourists coming from Urgyup, Gorem and Kaiseri and tries to show them the beauty of the Black Sea.
Candemir noted that visitors really like Syumel: “The changes in the last three years – the ban on the passage of private cars to the monastery, the organization of the transfer of minibuses – saved us time in tours and allowed the guests to calmly inspect both the monastery itself and its surroundings.
According to him, people are very impressed by both the monastery and the surrounding landscapes: “Nature has a strong impression on them. Those who have not yet been on the Black Sea, we will definitely invite here,” added Candemir.
