Serbia announced the detention of the former deputy chairman of the Serbian List of the Milan Radoychich, who took responsibility for the events in the north of Kosovo on September 24. This is stated in the message of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Serbia.
Radauchic was detained during a search of one of the apartments in Belgrade. The term of detention provides for 48 hours.
The message notes that the Serbian politician was detained by decision of the Belgrade prosecutor’s office.
Earlier, on September 29, Radaich, through his lawyer, said that he was one involved in the events in the north of Kosovo, which led to the death of a Kosovo policeman. After his statement, the politician left the ranks of the party.

The tension that lasted several months in the north of Kosovo again aggravated on the morning of September 24, when, as a result of shelling by armed Serbs, who blocked the road to the village of Bansk, where the policeman is mainly lived.

Prime Minister Kosovo Albin Kurti said that a well-armed group of about 30 people attacked the Kosovo police, liable for the incident on Serbia.
