A group of residents of Serbia blocked roads leading to three border crossings on the border with Kosovo.
Serbs placed freight transport in the middle of the road leading to the Yarinier, Merdara and Brnyak checkpoint. Thus, they responded to the ban on the entry of trucks transporting goods from Serbia introduced by the Kosovo administration.
One of the organizers of the action of Acts Milosevich told representatives of the press that protesters did not miss freight transport and buses with Kosovsky and foreign numbers as part of the action, begun on the evening of June 19.
Meanwhile, local media report that trucks have been waiting for the travel to Kosovo at the Yarinya checkpoint for about a week. Fores deliver goods to the countries of the European Union (EU), and their losses grow day by day, the media noted.
In turn, the Med Kosovo called for the use of other border crossings, since the passage through the blocked three gearboxes can be unsafe. In addition, the Med Kosovo demanded to ensure the work of border crossings through Northern Macedonia.
Kosovo authorities previously introduced a ban on the movement of freight transport through the territory of Kosovo, after the Serbian police detained three Kosovo police officers last week.
