In the Investigation Department of the Military Prosecutor’s Office, an investigation into the criminal case, initiated on the fact of the intentional murder of the border post servicemen, in which the superior officer of the border troops served Junior Sergeant Elhan Avazla.
We note that on January 2, at about 18:00 in the zone of the service of a special borderline division “Gubadli” of the border troops of the State Border Service, a soldier of superficial real military services Junior Sergeant Avazla Elkhan for unknown reasons opened fire from service weapons in its colleagues.
As a result of the shooting, three soldiers were killed – Senior Lieutenant Ismayylov Yusif, Jr. Envigger Jalilzade Amil and Jr. Envigger Ibrahimov Rafail. Sergeant Avasel threw a weapon and disappeared from the scene.
Today, on Tuesday, January 4, Elkhan Avazla was charged under Article 120.2.7 of the Criminal Code and the decision of the Fizuli Military Court elected a preventive measure in the form of detention.
