Series Of Coordinated Attacks On Prisons Occurred In France

Last night in France there was a series of attacks on prisons in various cities of the country.

The Minister of Justice of France Gerald Darmanen in his account on the social network X reported various “intimidation attempts”, including car arson and shooting from automatic weapons directed against several prisons.

Darmanen said that he would go to Tun to support the prison employees today. He noted that France is faced with the problem of drug trafficking and taking measures that are extremely disturbed by criminal groups.

BFMTV television channel, citing sources in the Ministry of Justice, said that among institutions that were attacked last night, there are prisons in Toulon, Marseille, Luina and Valance.

In Luina and Valance, cars were set on fire on parking lots, and on the goal of the prison in Toulon, fire was opened from automatic weapons.

A source close to the case said that these attacks were supposedly coordinated and planned in response to the creation of a high level of security and strategy of the Ministry of Justice to combat drug cartels in France.
