Sevinj Magherramova killer went to bars for 15 years

In the Baku court on serious crimes, the trial of Fizuli Garayev, accused of killing his wife, ended.

According to Haqqin.az, according to the verdict, Fizuli Garayev was found guilty of charges and was sentenced to 15 years in prison. In his last word, Garaev said that he regrets the murder of his wife.

The tragedy occurred in August last year. On this day, information about the murder of Sevinj Maherramova, born in 1997, her husband in the village of Ziri Khazarsky district, was received by the district prosecutor’s office.

The investigation found that Fizuli Garayev, born in 1979, learning that his wife, after the conflict, hid in the house of his neighbor, Royal Huseynov, stabbed Huseynov and the worker Ramil Bashirov, after which he went into the house and stabbed his wife.

In March of this year, social networks circled photographs of brutally beaten Sevinj. Many civilian activists then stood up to defend the woman, a complaint was filed with the police. But soon the woman made peace with her husband and returned to him. Further development of events showed that this was a fatal mistake.
