ex-Minister of Defense of Armenia and the head of the Armenia parliamentary faction Seyran Oganyan was summoned for interrogation to the Armenian national security service, where he was taken from a lower leave, on Tuesday, February 14, Armenian media.
According to the report, Oganyan was called for interrogation in the SNB as part of a criminal case instituted on February 10. The ex-minister did not give written testimony, saying that he did not accept the accusations. This information was confirmed by the former minister himself.
Earlier, on the basis of the petition of the Prosecutor General of Anna Vardapetyan, the parliament deprived Oganyan of deputy inviolability.
Based on the materials of the case prepared by the Prosecutor General’s Office of Armenia, by order of Oganyan, territories and buildings of two military units were sold at prices are much lower than market prices.
