On the official Internet page of the United States Department of United States, US citizens were provided with information on COVID-19 coronavirus infection in Azerbaijan and high risk of terrorist threat. It was recommended to refrain from traveling to Azerbaijan if there is no serious need. This information is distributed in the Azerbaijani segment of social media.
According to the public security service website (SGB), therefore it states that such information provided in connection with the presence of a terrorist threat in the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan does not reflect validity and is absolutely unreasonable.
“At the same time, we declare that the stability and tranquility, created in our country as a result of the successful policy of law enforcement and safety, conducted under the leadership of President of the Republic of Ilham Aliyev, guarantee our citizens, as well as to Azerbaijan to foreigners accommodation in Azerbaijan Security Conditions. Currently, the risk of terrorist threats for people who want to come to our country is missing, “the report says.
