by order of the Minister of Defense Industry of Azerbaijan Madat Guliyev, Colonel Arif Babaev was appointed to the post of adviser to the Minister.
Prior to his appointment to this post, Arif Babaev held the position of head of the Center for Public Relations of the State Security Service of Azerbaijan (SGB).
At different times, Arif Babaev by decrees of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev was awarded medals “For the Motherland”, “For Military Merit”, “For Merit in the rear in the Patriotic War.” Also, by order of the head of the State Security Service, Ali Nagiyeva A. Babaev was awarded the badge “Honorary Employee of the State Security Service” and the medal “For impeccable service of the 1st degree.”
