“Azerbaijan is interested in normalizing relations with Armenia.” This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Shakhin Mustafaev at a meeting with Russian and Iranian officials.
Sh. Mustafaev noted that Baku has repeatedly declared his readiness to start negotiations under a peace treaty.
“To normalize the situation in the region there is no other alternative, except for the world, and this can be achieved, first of all, as part of the establishment between Azerbaijan and the Armenia of Interstate relations based on mutual recognition and respect for sovereignty, territorial integrity, inviolability of international borders”, – he noted.
Deputy Prime Minister also emphasized that paragraph 9 of the application dated November 9-10, 2020 provides for the restoration of economic and transport relations in the region, the opening of communications in order to create a transport communication between the western regions of Azerbaijan and Nakhchivanskaya Ar.
“for the implementation of the activity is a working group under the chairmanship of the Deputy Prime Ministers of the three countries,” added Shakhin Mustafaev.
