Today in Azerbaijan high inflation, not only Azerbaijan, but all countries of the world suffer from inflation, said Minister of Finance Samir Sharifov at a meeting of Milli Majlis.
According to the minister, inflation is a factor that reduces the income of every citizen: “That’s why the government is interested in reducing inflation. Although our income is growing, we want inflation to decrease. High inflation weakens the purchasing power of the population. There are currently favorable conditions for the implementation of oil and gas in world markets. But the income entering our country is more directed to cover expenses. This is why we should be careful with expenses. “
