Ships of PRC and Philippines collided in South China Sea

The Chinese ship and the Filipino Supply ship collided on Monday in the disputed area in the South China Sea.

This is stated in the message of the Coast Guard Office of the PRC.

According to the statement, the Filipino ship “illegally invaded” in the waters adjacent to the Reef Jenai (in the Philippines they call the second Sales of Thomas).

“The dangerous approach of the Filipino vessel to the Chinese navigation ship, despite the repeated warnings of the Chinese side and in violation of international rules for preventing incidents on the water, caused a collision,” the statement said.

Beijing considers the second grint of Thomas to its own water area.
