Ukraine is required this year $ 17 billion for recovery.
This was stated by Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmygal at a meeting with the deputy chairman of the European Commission Valdis Dombrovskis.
“An important meeting with the executive vice chairman of the European Commission Valdis Dombrovskis,” Shmygal wrote in his Telegram channel.
“We discussed the issues of the quick restoration of Ukraine. This year $ 17 billion is needed for these needs,” the prime minister said.
He once again expressed the opinion that Western partners should transfer frozen Russian assets to Kyiv.
According to Shmygal, out of 18 billion euros approved by the EC in the framework of the macro -financial assistance program to Ukraine, 3 billion euros are already transferred.
“It is important that financial resources come predictably and rhythmically,” the prime minister added.
The head of the government expressed the hope of extending until the end of 2024 of the duty -free import of Ukrainian goods to the EU countries, which now operates until June 5, 2023.
