The European Union with its decisions under the UKRaine Facility program confirms that it will support Ukraine as much as it takes, said Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmygal.
“The European Parliament and the EU Council has reached a political agreement to create the UKRaine Facility program. This is another important step towards approving the initiative. As part of this financial instrument, Ukraine will receive an EUR50 billion for four years,” the prime minister wrote on a social network Telegram.
The prime minister emphasized that “the European Union once again proved that the only one in its unshakable support of Ukraine in the fight against Russian aggression.”
“The EU demonstrates its important role in restoring and modernization. And confirms that it will support our country as much as it will be required,” he said.
Earlier, the EU Council and the European Parliament announced the coordination of the new mechanism of Ukraine’s support for 50 billion euros for the period until 2027.
