Russian Minister of Defense Sergey Shoigu held telephone conversations with his Armenian colleague Suren Papikyan, the website of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reports.
According to the report, the heads of military departments discussed the current situation in the region, as well as in areas of the tasks of Russian peacekeepers in Karabakh.
Recall that earlier on Thursday, September 15, Sergey Shoigu held telephone negotiations with the head of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan Kerim Veliev, during which he discussed with him the issues of the current situation in the region.
