Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Sergey Shoigu expressed confidence that the meeting held in Moscow will serve the further strengthening of the Russian-Chinese strategic partnership in the defense sector. “I am convinced that your extensive experience in interaction with the Russian Federation will contribute to both the development of the Armed Forces of the People’s Republic of China and the expansion of military cooperation between our countries,” Shoigu said
According to him, the Moscow summit became the main political event in Russian-Chinese relations this year.
