The leadership of the Russian Federation took the necessary measures to increase the production of weapons and military equipment for the supply of Russian groups of troops involved in the “special operation” in Ukraine.
This was announced on Tuesday by the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Sergey Shoigu at a selector meeting with the leading composition of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, the Russian state media reported.
The Minister noted that the actions of Russian groups of troops largely depend on the timely replenishment of weapons, military equipment and means of defeat.
The leadership of the Russian Federation before defense enterprises set the task in a short time to increase the pace and volumes of production, the necessary operational measures were taken, Shoigu informed.
The head of the defense department of the Russian Federation said that the Corporation Tactical missile weapons (KTRV) in a short time switched to serial production of a number of the latest types of weapons, completing all stages of development.
The company supplies a wide range of aviation and sea weapons to the zone of the Special Military Operation, many of which have no analogues, the head of the Ministry of Defense explained.
KTRV continues to work on the creation of promising and modernized weapons, the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation said.
At the same time, Shoigu noted that KTRV needs to double the production volumes of high -precision means of damage in the shortest possible time.
He also noted the effectiveness of the operation of the interaction system for the operational solution of problematic issues for the production and supply of weapons, military equipment and ammunition.
the Russian Armed Forces this year has already delivered a sufficient amount of ammunition to inflict an effective fire defeat to the enemy, Sergey Shoigu emphasized.
In general, according to him, the defense-industrial complex provides the needs of the army and navy.
Nevertheless, it is necessary to timely identify the risks of the non -fulfillment by enterprises of their obligations and quickly take corrective measures, the head of the department believes.
According to Shoigu, the number of repaired weapons per day exceeds the fault in the ratio of three to two.
It was also possible to reduce the amount of faulty equipment to be repaired by one and a half times, the minister said. “At the same time, work in these areas must continue and increase its pace,” he said.
Control over all stages of the implementation of the state defense order is carried out around the clock, the minister added.
