January 25, the German government confirmed that it will send to Ukraine 14 Leopard 2 tanks and give other countries permission to re -export of these machines.
According to the Minister of Defense of Germany Boris Pistorius, Leopard 2 will be sent to Ukraine “until the end of March”. On February 7, the Cabinet of Ministers of Germany approved the supply of 178 Leopard 1a5 tanks to Kyiv. Military equipment will be transferred from industry reserves.
