The amount of assistance that Germany provided or guaranteed to Ukraine since February 2022 is calculated in an amount of more than 14 billion euros.
This was stated by the Chancellor of Germany Olaf Sholts in a special call, which is published today.
“We provide financial and humanitarian support, as well as weapon support,” he said. “I understand that some are worried about this, cast our solutions to doubt. That’s why it is so important to adhere to the principle that we were guided from the very beginning : Everything that we do is closely coordinated with our partners and allies. And we will do everything so that there is no escalation between Russia and NATO. ”
Scholz claims that the supply of Western weapons is not delaying the war. “The opposite is true,” he said.
According to Chancellor, Russia “can put an end to this war.”
