National Security Strategy will be approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of Germany on June 14, the Chancellor of Germany Olaf Scholz said, speaking at the East German Economic Forum in the commune of Bad-Zarov.
“On the next Wednesday in the Cabinet of Ministers, we will approve our national security strategy,” said Sholts.
According to him, an important place in it will be assigned to ensure supplies to Germany critically important raw materials.
“The raw material plays a central role. That’s why we are working on the so -called Critical Raw Materials Act directive in the European Union to provide Europe with reliable supplies of strategically important raw materials,” Scholz said.
Scholz noted that the ruling coalition has repeatedly postponed the statement of the strategy.
The head of government emphasized Berlin’s commitment to the new EU agreements on free trade with the countries of Asia, Africa and South America.
