The restoration of Ukraine will be more expensive than the Marshall Plan, the German Chancellor Olaf Sholts said, speaking at a press conference in Berlin.
According to him, the Federal Republic of Germany plans to continue to support Ukraine, including the supply of weapons, until the war ends on the terms of Ukrainians. At the same time, the Chancellor suggested that Germany should already turn to the issue of restoring infrastructure, buildings and institutions of Ukraine. According to him, billions will go to solve the problem. He noted that the costs can be even more than on the Marshall Plan.
Note, the Marshall plan, nominated in 1947 by US Secretary of State George Marshall, assumed large -scale economic assistance to European countries to restore from the consequences of World War II
