The speaker of the Armenian parliament, Alain Simonyan, during a visit to Russia on October 9, plans to discuss issues of Armenia’s membership in the organization of a collective security agreement (CSTO), Armenian media write.
Answering the question of journalists about whether Armenia from the CSTO is possible, Simonyan used the formulation of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan “CSTO will leave Armenia.”
“It is possible that the CSTO will generally decide to leave Armenia. If this structure does not give an appropriate reaction, we must think and understand for a very long time. This is not a game to make fast and sharp movements, without understanding what we will do what we do After and what will follow, ”he said.
Simonyan, as Pashinyan earlier, did not clarify what the authorities mean by the “process of the exit of the CSTO from Armenia”, but promised that “it would definitely speak and insist on his words.”
