The natural park of Lake Limni in the northeast of Turkey remains one of the favorite places of visiting tourists and local residents.
The park is located in the Torul region in the province of Gyumushkhan, at the foot of the Zigan Mountain. On the territory of the park there are crater Lake Limni, pine and spruce forests.
This year the park has been opened for visiting on August 21, more than 150 thousand people visited it from the day of opening.
Visitors love to spend time in the shadow of large trees near Lake Limney.
The head of the local council of the district, Torul Orhan Ayaz, told Anadol that the natural park is an important center of tourism in the province of Gyumushkhan.
“From the date of the opening of the park, more than 150 thousand people visited the park. In the park, there are also rented houses -bungalows, which are very popular in the summer season. The park makes a huge contribution to local tourism,” he said.
