At the Azerbaijani Championship in judo, individual competitions ended. On the last day of personal championship, medals were played in three weight categories in men and women.
As a result, the champions were: Nurlan Osmanov (73 kg), Zelim Kotsya (100 kg), Jamal Gamzathanov (over 100 kg), Fidan Alizade (57 kg), Narmin Amirli (78 kg) and Nigar Suleimanov (over 78 kg. ).
In total, 363 judokas and judokas from 68 clubs, societies and sports organizations of the country participated in the championship. In the team event, the 1st place was taken by Neftechchi, 2nd-“Atilla”, 3rd-Judo Club 2012.
