Slovenia handed over to Ukraine 28 M-55S tanks, writes Slovenian edition 24UR with reference to the country’s Ministry of Defense.
This is the second batch of military assistance, which Slovenia passed on to Ukraine. In July, Kyiv received 35 BVP M80A amphibians from Ljubljana.
M-55S tanks, which are stored by the Army of Slovenia, is a strongly modernized version of the T-55 Soviet tank, developed at the end of the Second World War.
