Smoking And Alcohol Increase Risk Of Developing Head And Neck Cancer In Men Over 50 Years Old

The head of the clinic of the otorhinolaryngology of the educational and research oncological hospital of Ankara named after Abdurrahman Yurtashan, Dr. Dzhaner Kylych, said that cancer of the head and neck is more often found in men over 50, who smoke and consume alcohol, and early diagnosis saves life.

The doctor explained that the diagnosis of the disease is made on the basis of a physical examination and that there is no need for an additional examination method.
