Georgian customs officers stopped the import of about 5.4 thousand tons of undeclared diesel fuel from Azerbaijan over the past six months, the revenue of the country’s Ministry of Finance reports.
We are talking about 6,443,970 liters of fuel, which was found when checking trucks on the Red Bridge and Lagodehi CCI. As a rule, smuggling was hidden in baki shrubly mounted drivers.
According to Article 168 of the Customs Code of Georgia, this fact is an offense and is punishable by a fine.
