Russian TV presenter Ksenia Sobchak became a suspect in the Rostec State Corporation case, Russian media reported with reference to a source in law enforcement agencies.
According to the source, Sobchak is suspected of extortion in order to obtain property on an especially large scale (paragraph “b” of part 3 of Article 163 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). For this, up to 15 years in prison.
October 26 in the country house of Ksenia Sobchak was a search. Soon after this information, the media reported that Sobchak urgently left Russia. Law enforcement officers had a resolution of the investigator on the detention of Sobchak.
On October 25, Kirill Sukhanov was detained on suspicion of extortion. Together with him, the former editor -in -chief of Tatler magazine Arian Romanovsky (Kuzmin) was detained. On October 26, he was charged with extortion on an especially large scale.
