American billionaire George Soros said that the war in Ukraine may end with the “collapse of the Russian Empire.”

The businessman said that the former republics of the USSR are looking forward to that Russia will be defeated in conflict with Ukraine, as they want to defend their independence.
The Victory of Ukraine, according to Soros, will lead to the “collapse of the Russian Empire”, and Russia “will no longer pose a threat to Europe and the world.”
Such a development of events “would bring great relief to open societies and would create huge problems for closed ones,” added a billionaire.
Soros also stated that the presidents of the United States and Ukraine Joe Biden and Vladimir Zelensky at the meeting on December 22 agreed that the only way to finish the current conflict was to win it. However, Biden warned Zelensky that there were limits of what he could do for Kyiv, the businessman says.
