SpaceX Starship Missile Collapsed During Eighth Test Flight

SpaceX Starship missile, owned by American billionaire Ilon Mask, collapsed during the eighth test flight.

The connection with the prototype of the StarsHip ship was lost about 10 minutes after the launch. The rocket started from the cosmodrome in Texas.

The rocket, which was refused by the engines, fell apart into the air in the air and collapsed to the ground.

StarsHip reached a height of about 150 kilometers. In social networks, shots of burning wreckage of rockets made in Florida appeared. It was assumed that during the eighth test flight the rocket would enter the atmosphere over the Indian Ocean.

The US Federal Civil Aviation Department reported that it demanded that SpaceX have investigated the accident.

SpaceX confirmed that the spacecraft was faced with “unplanned fast disconnection” during the start of the engine, and also promised to analyze the last launch to understand the cause of the accident.

In turn, the Orlando International Airport reported on the social network X about the suspension of flights for a short time “due to the fragments of the spacecraft.”

The seventh test flight Starship, carried out on January 16, was also unsuccessful.

The next launch of the Starship system, consisting of the Super Heavy, Super Heavy, was supposed to take place on the SpaceX Star base in Texas on March 4. However, the launch was canceled 40 seconds before the start for unknown reasons.
