Spain withdrew ambassador from Buenos Aires

Spain decided to withdraw its ambassador in Argentina.

This was announced by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Spain Jose Manuel Albares.

This step was adopted after the President of Argentina Javier Miley accused the Spanish Prime Minister and his wife of corruption. The Foreign Minister of Spain demanded to apologize from him, but the Argentine leader refused to do this.

”The ambassador will be on an ongoing basis in Madrid. Argentina will be left without an ambassador,” said the Foreign Minister of Spain.
