Speaker Of House Of Representatives Of United States Did Not Rule Out Resignation Of Zelensky

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky must “recover” and return to the negotiating table “with gratitude” or allow someone else to lead the country. This was stated by the speaker of the House of US representatives Mike Johnson.

Johnson noted that the Ukrainian leader during a meeting in the White House entered into a skirmish with the President of the United States and interrupted him instead of expressing gratitude for the help rendered by the United States.

“What Zelensky did in the White House was a signal for us that he was not ready for this yet, and I think this is a huge disappointment,” Johnson said.

According to the speaker, to achieve a peace agreement discussed by the United States, Zelensky must “recover” and return to the negotiating table “with gratitude” or allow someone else to lead the country.

The politician said that the agreement between the United States and Ukraine on rare earth metals includes security guarantees, and that in case of signing, the agreement will ensure a “certain level of security” for Ukraine.

Johnson said that after signing the agreement, Ukraine will join the economic partnership with the United States, and Washington will always protect its interests and investments.

“Russia, China, Iran and North Korea know about this. This is a very important message for us,” the speaker added.
