Speaker Of Turkish Parliament Met With South Korean Colleague In Brazil

The Chairman of the Great National Assembly (Parliament) of Turkey Numan Kurtulmush met with the speaker of the National Assembly of South Korea at Wengs in the capital of Brazil.

The meeting was held in the fields of the 10th summit of the speakers of the parliaments of the “Big Twenty” countries (P20).

Kurtulmush congratulated Shiki on the election of South Korea to the post of National Assembly.

Türkiye and South Korea – two close countries close to each other, contrary to the distance, he noted.

Brotherly relations between the peoples of the two countries also make a positive contribution to the bilateral relations between Turkey and South Korea, said Kurtulmush.

Since 2012, Ankaru and Seoul connect relations at the level of strategic partnership and these relations are capable of constant development, he noted.

Kurtulmush said that mutual visits between countries will significantly strengthen bilateral relations and invited a colleague to visit Turkey.

The speaker of the Turkish parliament recalled that Türkiye and South Korea are aimed to bring the turnover between the two countries to $ 15 billion a year.

He stated that joint work in all areas, including defense industry, energy and tourism, will benefit both countries.

The meeting was attended by a deputy from the ruling party of justice and development of the villages of Altynok, parliamentary deputies Certete Atay, Sibel Suichmes, as well as Turkish ambassador to Brazilia Khalil Ibrahim Akcha.
