The special forces of the Turkish gendarmerie neutralized five PKK armed terrorists in the east and southeast of the country.

According to the minister, terrorists are neutralized as part of the Operation “Bozdoğan-43” in the vicinity of the Doglyazit (the province of Agra) and the village of Palamut of the Khasankaif region (Batman Province).
The operation was supported by Turkish special services, planes, ATAK helicopters and Turkish drones were involved.
According to the minister, one of the neutralized terrorists – Yilmaz Onser, nicknamed “Shehmus Malazgirt”, was listed in the “red” list of especially dangerous terrorists, wanted through the Turkish Ministry of Internal Affairs. He participated in the organization of 18 terrorist acts who claimed the lives of 27 employees of law enforcement agencies and four civilians in Turkey.
In the vicinity of the village of Palamut, Shakir Erdemi, nicknamed “Shervan Botan”, Khazret Kacar, nicknamed “Eile,”, Nurkin, nicknamed “Nurhak” and Zeynep Ozkan, nicknamed “Akhin”, are neutralized. Three of them were listed in the “orange” list of the department, Jerlika informed.
The Minister emphasized the determination of Turkish law enforcement agencies until the last to continue the fight against terrorism.
President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that since 1984, when the militants of the RSC for the first time had carried out a bloody crime in Turkey, and until March 2020, 7,500 security forces of Turkey and 6,800 civilians were killed at the hands of this bloody organization.
The United States and the European Union introduced PKK to the lists of terrorist organizations.
Despite Ankara’s attempts to find ways to settle the situation, the PKK terrorist organization has resumed armed attacks since July 2015.
In recent years, PKK seeks to shift responsibility for bloody crimes in the region to its branches.
In Syria, PKK terrorists are covered by the names Pyd and YPG, and in the last two years they call themselves “Syrian democratic forces.”
In Iran, PKK acts as “Party of Free Life of Kurdistan” (pjak).
