In Bulgaria, suspects were detained in a terrorist attack in Istanbul. NOVA Bulgarian Agency reports that among the detained citizens of Moldova, one person of Arabic origin.
The fifth accused is a woman from Syria, who was in a camp for migrants in Bulgaria. She is already collaborating with the investigation, Nova sources reported.
It is noted that five are accused of assisting the performer of the attack in Istanbul. According to the Bulgarian Agency, one of the detainees, as well as the one of the Interpol for terrorism, intended to commit new terrorist attacks both in Turkey and in one of the European Union countries.
The Bulgarian Prosecutor General’s Office confirmed this information, but refused to report the details, since, according to them, this can jeopardize national security.
