Special Representative Of US President Said That Zelensky Apologized To Trump

Special representative of US President Donald Trump Steve Vitkoff said that the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky “apologized” in a letter that he sent to Trump.

Speaking on the American television channel Fox News, the special representative of Trump, he expressed hope for success before the Ukrainian-Ukrainian negotiations in Saudi Arabia.

Vitcoff in particular said: “Zelensky sent a letter to the president and apologized for that incident in the oval office. I think this is an important step, and many meetings were held on this issue between our teams, Ukrainians and Europeans.”

In his speech to Congress last Tuesday, US President Trump said that Zelensky sent him a letter in which he reported his readiness to sign an agreement on rare earth minerals with the United States.

Trump did not use the word “apology” in his speech. He said that he was satisfied with the letter and believes that they will soon sign an agreement with Ukraine.

On the other hand, the director of the US Central Intelligence Directorate (CIA) John Ratcliffe confirmed that after a conversation in the oval office between Trump and Zelensky, they temporarily stopped reconnaissance support and military deliveries to this country, emphasizing that this is a temporary measure.
