The Netherlands authorities allowed the audience to attend the hall during the Eurovision International Song Competition, which will be held in Maa in Rotterdam, the organizers of the competition reported.
“We welcome the decision of the Dutch government and the opportunity to invite fans to join the Eurovision Song Contest in May,” said the executive supervisor of the Martin Osterdala contest, commenting on the decision of the Netherlands authorities.
As the organizers noted on the contest website, in the coming weeks will be announced how to admit the audience to the event.
On all nine shows – six rehearsals, two semi-finals and the final – at the same time there may be a maximum of 3,500 spectators – half from the expected number of viewers. At the same time, they must have a negative test result for coronavirus.
Eurovision this year should pass on May 18-22 in Rotterdam.
