Spring Rains In Niger Took Lives Of 94 People

The number of floods and landslides caused by spilling rains in Niger, from June, increased to 94.

The Main Directorate of Civil Defense reported that 135 156 people were damaged from heavy rains in June.

Due to the gathering of landslides and floods, thousands of people were left without shelter.

Earlier on August 6, 77 died as a result of a natural disaster.

The rain season in Niger begins in June and ends in September. Last year, 41 people died due to heavy rains and were injured by 53 people. In total, 137,797 people were injured last year.
