The remains of the leader of the USSR Joseph Stalin must be returned to the Mausoleum on Red Square, since most Russians recognize his merits in the formation of the Soviet state, said the head of the Communists of Russia party Sergey Malinkovich.
Malinkovich emphasized that such an action will not be superfluous, since most Russians recognize Stalin’s merits “in strengthening the Soviet state.” The transfer of the remains must be carried out in a festive atmosphere with the presence of the country’s leadership, he added.
Earlier, Russian media reported that the level of approval of Stalin’s reign reached a historical maximum. According to the survey, half of Russians treat him “with admiration, respect and sympathy.”
