Starlink Intends To Connect Phones Directly To Satellite Internet

While 2.5 billion people in the world do not have access to the Internet, SpaceX, owned by Ilon Mask, intends to connect phones directly to the satellite Internet using Direct To Cell satellites.

According to information collected by an ANADOLA agency (AA), the SpaceX Starlink satellite Internet network is prepared to connect smartphones to the satellite network using Direct To Cell.

Technical issues are resolved

According to information posted on the Starlink website, it is very difficult for mobile phones to connect to the satellites at a distance of hundreds of kilometers, due to technical impossibilities associated with low sensitivity of antennas.

In order to overcome these difficulties and provide mobile phones with a standard LTE service, Starlink satellites are equipped with new innovative special silicon, phased antenna lattices and advanced software algorithms, the company said.

According to this information, the service exchange service will begin work this year, and services such as voice calls, data transfer will be launched in 2025.

Starlink announced that mobile cellular access will be activated for T-Mobile USA, Rogers Canada, One NZ New Zealand, Kddi Japan, Optus Australia, Salt Switzerland, Entel Chile and Entel Peru.

Starlink, developed by Ilona, SPACEX Mask, is a network system consisting of thousands of small satellites running into orbit to ensure high -speed Internet access in every corner of the world. The project aims to improve access to the Internet, especially in rural and remote areas.
