In Bishkek, a ceremony of signing an investment agreement was held between the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and the INOO Zheleznodorozhnaya Company Khir-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan. This is reported by the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan.
The investment agreement was signed by the Minister of Transport and Communications of the Kyrgyz Republic, Absattar Syrgabaev and the chairman of the board of directors of the Zheleznodorozhny Company ivo, China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan, Zhong Schanguy.
Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers-Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture and the processing industry of the Kyrgyz Republic Bakyt Torobaev noted that this day can and should be considered a historical day for three countries, since, signing this investment agreement for the design, construction, financing, operation and operation maintenance of the railway “China – Kyrgyz – Uzbekistan” The parties for the long and difficult period of the negotiation process are transferred to the practical plane of the implementation of such a large -scale infrastructure project of regional and international significance.
The signing ceremony was attended by delegations from the Chinese and Uzbek sides, headed by the temporary attorney in the affairs of the Chinese People’s Republic in the Kyrgyz Republic of Lee Baozzi and the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbek to the Kyrgyz Republic Saidikram Niyazkhodzhaev.
The participants in the event noted that the construction of the China-Kyrgyz-Uzbekistan railway is an important element of the development strategy of the transport infrastructure of the countries participating in the project and will bring the countries not only the socio-economic effect, but also strengthen interregional ties.
Start building by the Kita -Kyrgyzstan -Uzbekistan railway will be given on December 27 of the current year.
