Starts International Olympiad named after Lutfi Zade

The opening ceremony of the International Olympiad named after Lutfi Zade, the world-famous Azerbaijani scientist, the founder of the theory of fuzzy sets will be held in online 20 December.

Olympiad, which is part of the plan of events to the 100th anniversary of Lutfi Zade, will be organized among schoolchildren interested in mathematics and computer science. Schoolchildren from all over the world under the age of 18 will take part in the online Olympiad.

Meeting participants will be given 4 hours and 30 minutes to solve 4 tasks, and in computer science – 5 hours on the solution of 4 tasks. Competitions in mathematics will be held on December 22, and on computer science – December 23. The awards ceremony and the closing ceremony of the Olympiad will be held on December 25.

The main goal of the Olympiad is to familiarize schoolchildren with an outstanding scientist Lutfie Zade and its contribution to science, to establish friendships between talented young people from different countries, call interest in schoolchildren to an in-depth study of mathematics and computer science.
